Sam is an entrepreneur, artist, and athlete. He earned an MBA from Boise State University, and founded a software company while in school. He's a former professional road cyclist with over fifty victories to his credit, and has competed in nearly every major bicycle race in North America (including the Tour of California, Tour of Utah, and USA Pro Cycling Challenge). Sam applies the lessons he learned about competition, team dynamics, and high-performance to his role at Gabriel. Sam earned his undergraduate degree from Whitman College.

Sam enjoys training for and racing traithlons, watching live music, and designing and building large-scale art projects.
